the diaper madness continues

i just wanted to post a couple of pics of some things i have been working on. i finished these up today during the kids nap time...
first up, a fitted diaper, wool longies (they are a diaper cover and pants all in one!) and matching booties.

   

next, a fitted diaper, waterproof cover (i did the design on the cover with marvy fabric markers) and two coordinating fleece pants. 

last, and my favorite. fitted diaper with matching fleece pants (can be used a cover) and an upcycled hat made from a t-shirt sleeve. (thanks chad!! haha) 

I really needed to do something creative instead of purely functional. it was so fun and relaxing. i need more of that. xo g

i feel like i should write something....

but i dont now what... its not like crafting and art projects have ceased, or that i havent been doing things worth sharing...my kids are still cute.

 its just that I feel sorta like i have lost my voice.

does that sound weird? yeah, i know.

i kinda feel like a zombie walking around in my own body lately, except it isnt my body, cause my body shouldnt feel all crapy and broken.

i am tired. for real. but what mom isnt?

dont get me wrong. i am very content and happy with my life. i just feel like i am swimming in glue when i walk around my house and try to get things done, let alone do someting fun or go out or anything.

obviously i am in a funk today, and kinda out of it. case in point: i am sitting in the den with the kids and everything is fine... then all of the sudden i realize that libby has pushed a chair up to the counter with the coffe pot on it and is stirring my coffee (with her hand) and then licking her fingers before stirring again. when did she move that chair? or climb up there? i thought she was looking at books at my feet. wha????
